Something About

I always think
there's something big about life
that I seem to have missed.

Something about the right way to live
that I don't believe exists,

but how come then, that they're living their lives
much better than I am?

Life is as life is,
they don't have it any easier than I do;

So I'd very much like to know
exactly where it is that
the lesson has somehow passed me by.

I always think
there's something big about life
that I never learn to learn.

Something like always knowing
what to do or say;
the stupidity that makes me me;

Except that I never can pinpoint
what is this me I am all about.
