Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transgenders (GLBT)
History Museum

These are mostly takes on the Gay Olympic Games so I suppose it is safe material, but once again, if you are sensitive to this issue it may be better to turn back from this page altogether. ^^

San Francisco, as it happens, is a center of the Gay Liberation movement. This museum is part of the GLBT Society. I wasn't expecting that they allowed photography inside the museum, but they did. I think they actually encourage publicity in any sort as a form of support. You'll notice the domination of rainbow patterns on most things here, the rainbow flag being the symbol for the Gay Liberation movement.

Nice picture actually, too bad it turned out blur as I turned the flash off.

The video was showing interviews on an AIDS case. The two posters on the side were from the male and female body-building competition.

Now, see the area behind the posters and TV in the above picture, illuminated with blue lights? That was where they put the stuff that were, sort of, more sensitive. I took some pictures but they contain nudity so I'm not putting them up, to keep my tail safe. =P

There were also some interesting coverage of events such as the first gay marriage and the gay pride parade outside the gallery in the society area, but I was only browsing through as we were sort of rushing to go to another place before it closed.
