These four were taken in the span of a few minutes I had before boarding -- my transit in Hong Kong was only 1 hour 45 minutes, so I practically went straight from the plane to security check to the boarding gate.
Security check fired away in Cantonese and I had to ask if she spoke Mandarin. I ended up not understanding most of her speech anyway, but fortunately the procedure didn't require much communication. =P

Just after landing as the plane was adjusting its position, we actually stopped quite a while at a position where the two towers at the background were aligned picture-perfectly, but unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me at that time.

This and the following two were taken on the return flight, when I had more time to look around after check-in. This Yin-Yang was an art piece displayed in the SkyMart.

The artistic ceiling, left and right of the pillar, with different lighting effects. Taken while waiting for the first class and business passengers to board before we could get on.

So I was bored. =P Heheh. Taken while waiting for the shuttle van I've reserved for, to take me to the hotel. Took me some time (and two information booths) to find the boarding spot too -- the instructions said to follow the signs but no signs were in sight, or maybe my sense of direction was really that bad?
There were other transport services along the street and they were offering to me, "San Francisco?" I got confused for a while there, thinking, "Isn't this San Francisco already?" =D Of course, they meant the city.

These were taken on the return flight. There was a display on Chinese traditional arts, titled "Made in China". This case displays the sets of playing cards.

And this is the legend of Chang-er or the Mid-Autumn Festival. There you got the lantern and the rabbit. Not sure what the phoenix had to do with this.
(Was about to call it the Mooncake Festival, but recalled Jiahui scolding us for the improper name -- it was Zhong-Qiu Jie, she said, not Yue-Bing Jie! =D)
