Wang Deliang is a graduate student pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by research in the Department of Information Systems, School of Computing at the National University of Singapore (NUS) (July 2008 - present). He graduated with Bachelor of Computing (Honours) in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore in June 2008. He was also in the University Scholars Programme (USP), which provided a unique undergraduate experience for highly talented students to realize their full potential.

Mr. Wang has done research on Latent Semantic Analysis in Undergraduate Research Opportunity Programme (UROP) under the supervision of Dr. Danny Poo. His paper was presented at the 13th National UROP Congress in 2008. He has also assisted Dr. Teo Hock Hai for his research on Information Privacy. He completed the Honours Year Project on Computer self-efficacy in Facebook under the supervision of Dr. Chan Hock Chuan. The paper for this project Understanding Users' Continuance of Facebook - The Role of General and Specific Computer Self-Efficacy will be presented and published in the Proceedings of the Twenty Ninth International Conference on Information Systems, Paris 2008. He is also the Web Manager for the website of Professor Kishore Mahbubani, Dean of Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.

Mr. Wang has got many scholarships and awards. He is currently holding NUS Research Scholarship for his PhD study. He got the Undergraduate Scholarship for PRC students in Singapore (2004). He also got the Third Prize in both National Physics Olympiad 2002 and National Biology Olympiad 2002 in China. He got the Second Prize in both National Mathematics Olympiad 2000 and National English Proficiency Contest 2000 in China.
