Bio

Wang Pidong is a Ph.D candidate of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore since 2008. He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from the Harbin Institute of Technology, China in 2007. His research focuses on natural language processing, information retrieval and speech processing. In Harbin Institute of Technology, he did some work on Chinese segmentation, Chinese Part-Of-Speech (POS) tagging and Named Entity Recoganition (NER). In National University of Singapore (NUS), he has done some research of Semantic Role Labeling (SRL), Machine Translation (MT), and Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR).
