Mr Wee Siew Kim has been a non-executive Director of SBS Transit Ltd since 2003. He is Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee and a member of the Service Quality Committee.

Mr Wee is the Deputy CEO of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. Prior to this, Mr Wee held several positions within Singapore Technologies Engineering and Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd, the last being the President of the latter organisation.

Mr Wee is also the Member of Parliament, Ang Mo Kio GRC, Jalan Kayu Division. He is presently a Director of Singapore British Engineering Pte Ltd, Singapore Technologies Kinetics Ltd, Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited, Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd, Singapore Technologies Marine Ltd and Singapore Technologies Dynamics Pte Ltd.

Mr Wee holds a Bachelor of Science (Aeronautical Engineering) (Hons) from the Imperial College of Science & Technology and Masters in Business Administration from Graduate School of Business, Stanford University. He was awarded the Charles Griffith Book Prize for best final year results from the Imperial College of Science & Technology in 1984.

Mr Wee was last re-elected a Director of the Company pursuant to Article 47 of the Company's Articles of Association at the Annual General meeting held on 28 April 2005. He is an independent Director of the Company.
