PathwayAPI, Data Dump of 29 September 2009

To access PathwayAPI, please visit http://www.pathwayapi.com.

  1. pathway_genes.csv

This file contains a list of the pathways and their respective genes. Column A is the pathway ID and column B is the NCBI gene ID

  2. 20090929 annotation.xls

The annotations for the pathway IDs and gene IDs are found in the first two sheets of this file.

Using a series of forumlas in excel (eg vlookups) you should be able to map the ids to the relevant genes.

  3. pathway_pathwaycache.sql

Is an sql dump of the data. If you are keen on using these information as a database solution, you can install your own webserver, mysql etc (I recommend using XAMP. Fastest and most convenient.) and you can dump all the information into the database.

After which you can just use a series of mysql calls to access the information which you would require.

Hope this helps. Just email me if you have any questions etc.
