Completed Projects

  • Reverse engineering of SUN SPARC-20 POST (Power-ON Self-Test) and Firmware: memory & cache self-test codes (Sun Assemble) and memory system in firmware (Forth).

  • Parallel Sequence Query: retrieve homologous sequences from existing bio-sequence databases on a cluster system (MPI was used).

Work Experience

2005---2007, working in CIR lab of SOC, NUS as a Research Assistant

  • In CIR, I'm carrying out research on transport layer protocols under Reactive TCP project.
2001---2003, worked in Anyware, a software company focused on information security.

  • In Anyware, I participated in the development of several products based on PKI, SSL, and SMIME with java. I also implemented one client management system with Domino/Notes.
1999---2001, worked in Great Dragon Technology Inc., a communication company in China.

  •  In GDT, I participated in the development of RNC of W-CDMA. I implemented the RLC and PDCP layers of its wireless communication protocol stack with C under Lynx.
