The Department of Information Systems and Analytics at National University of Singapore is one of the few departments in the world that offers a comprehensive suite of Information Systems and Analytics academic and professional degree programs from undergraduate to PhD level. It has about 25 tenure-track faculty members, who received training from different disciplines and renowned global institutions. The diversity of our faculty members has allowed the department to pursue a wide variety of research topics using behavioural (both quantitative and qualitative), economics / econometrics, and design science / business technical / computational research paradigms.

2. Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Information Systems and Analytics

The Department of Information Systems and Analytics at National University of Singapore (NUS) invites application for educator-track Senior Lecturer or Lecturer positions in the following areas:

  • Enterprise systems design and development (including software architecture, design patterns, Object-oriented requirement analysis and design)
  • Server-side design and development (including Java EE, .NET)
  • Front-end interface design and development (e.g., action-oriented web application development, component oriented web application development)
  • Database and data visualisation (SQL, NoSQL, relational database systems, document database, visualization of data etc.)
  • Enterprise architecture planning and design
  • Python and Java programming

3. Teaching Assistants in Information Systems and Analytics

The Department of Information Systems and Analytics is recruiting Teaching Assistants for Semester 1 of Academic Year 2019/2020. A Teaching Assistantship is an excellent starting point for a career in academic teaching. Teaching Assistants gain teaching experience during graduate studies, which is welcomed by future employers in academia and beyond.

We accept any computer-related degree (eg. IS, CS, etc). If you plan to continue your studies at School of Computing as a PhD student on a part-time basis with the Department, and have obtained a Honors (Highest Distinction) or Honors (Distinction), you may also apply.
