Special Consideration in Admissions for Medallists in Informatics Competitions<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

NUS Computing recognises exceptional talent demonstrated through high-level informatics competitions. Medallists from selected national and international competitions may be considered for admission under the University’s Aptitude-Based Admissions framework. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Applicants who have attained the following awards are eligible to apply for special consideration:\u00a0<\/p>

  1. Gold, silver and bronze medallists in\u00a0the\u00a0International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI)\u00a0<\/li>
  2. Gold medallists in\u00a0the\u00a0Singapore National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI)\u00a0<\/li>
  3. Gold and silver medallists in the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI)<\/li>
  4. Gold and silver medallists in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI)\u00a0<\/li>
  5. Gold medallists in the International Cybersecurity Olympiad (ICO)\u00a0<\/li>
  6. Gold medallists of national-level Informatics competitions in the following countries: China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Special Consideration in Admissions for Medallists in Physics\/Mathematics Competitions<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    Similarly, medallists in the following competitions may be considered for admission under the University’s Aptitude-Based Admissions framework when applying for undergraduate studies at NUS Computing:<\/p>

    1. Gold, silver and bronze medallists in the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO)<\/li>
    2. Gold, silver and bronze medallists in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      Please note that special consideration under this scheme does not guarantee admission. All applications are subject to the University’s admissions policies and holistic review process.       To be considered under this scheme, applicants must:<\/p>

      1. Submit an undergraduate application to the NUS Office of Admissions by the applicable application deadline. You may refer to here<\/a> for further information.<\/li>
      2. Declare any Olympiad achievements and upload the relevant supporting documents as part of your NUS Application.<\/li>
      3. Inform NUS Computing of their NUS admission application by completing the form here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
