11 September 2017 – NUS Computing received the Top Achievement Award for having the most number of graduates participating in the recent Commencement Class Giving 2017 campaign.
This is the first time the school has received the award.
The award was presented during the NUS Annual Giving Appreciation Dinner, held on 31 August at the NUSS Kent Ridge Guild House. Vice Dean (Student Life) Gary Tan and Vice Dean (Corporate Relations) Goh Khim Yong accepted the award on behalf of the school and graduates.
The commendation belongs to the graduating class of 2017 for their generous contributions to the campaign, where graduates were encouraged to make a gift of $10 and above to help students in financial need. The school had the highest participation rate among faculties that had between 400 and 1,200 graduating students.
