31 August 2017 – Associate Professor Gary Tan was awarded the distinguished ASIASIM Fellowship for his achievements in simulation science and technology, and for his contributions to the ASIASIM Foundation.

The award was given out at the 2016 International Simulation Multi-Conference, held in Beijing, China in early October last year.

The Fellowship award acknowledges Prof Gary’s involvement and contribution to the Asian Simulation Conference (AsiaSim) over the past 10 years. The Federation organises the annual AsiaSim conferences. The 2016 AsiaSim Conference was held jointly with the 2016 Autumn Simulation Multi-Conference (SCS AutumnSim 2016) at the 2016 International Simulation Multi-Conference.
