15 cybersecurity projects, four of which involve NUS Computing researchers, were recently awarded more than $16 million in grants. These grants aim to spur research in cyber tools and technologies to strengthen Singapore's defence against rising global cyber threats. Associate Professor Liang Zhengkai and Professor Abhik Roychoudhury's work, as well as Professor Ooi Beng Chin and Assistant Professor Wang Wei's project, were awarded the National Cybersecurity R&D Programme grant. Associate Professor Chang Ee-Chien and Associate Professor Liang Zhengkai's research, together with Dr Ng See Kiong's project, were awarded the Singapore Cybersecurity Consortium grant.
