About the Donor

Asia Fusion Technology Pte Ltd is a digital agency passionate about technology, creativity and innovation.

It is dedicated to deliver strategic software programming and consultancy activities, solutions for web and mobile design, online gaming operations, social media platforms as well as print media.


The Scholarship will be awarded to undergraduate students in NUS School of Computing.  In line with the Donor's belief in nurturing outstanding individuals and importance in giving back to the communities, successful scholarship candidates may be invited to apply for non-obligatory paid internships with Donor, subject to availability and approval.

Nature and value of Scholarship

Up to two Scholarships will be awarded each year to the undergraduate students at the School starting from Academic Year 2015/2016. The value of each Scholarship is $5,000 and is tenable only for the Academic Year (AY) in which it is awarded. In the event that the scholar is left with one semester of studies in the AY in which the scholarship is awarded, the scholarship amount may be pro-rated at the discretion of the School.

There is no bond attached to the Scholarship.

Application and Selection Procedure

Current students may apply via the NUS Financial Aid and Scholarships Online Application System, from 1 February to 1 April annually, to be considered for Scholarship in the following academic year. The last academic year for award of this Scholarship will be in AY2019-2020.

Applicants will be selected on a deserving basis and the criteria for the scholarship will include:

  • Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents;
  • Existing full-time Computing Undergraduates who may not have received the Scholarship previously;
  • Good achievement results;
  • Good co-curricular activities (CCA) record;
  • Good character and leadership qualities;
  • Currently not recipient of other scholarship, fellowship, bursary, grant or award; and
  • Any other attributes of the applicant that may provide an assessment of the character and the potential for leadership or contributions to the NUS community.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of competition among eligible candidates and the degrees pursued.

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed, where applicable, and selected by the Selection Committee.

The School reserves the right not to award any scholarship if there is no candidate of sufficient merit. The decision of the selection committee is final. Enquiries or disputes surrounding its decisions will not be entertained.
