Brief Summary

Two post-doctoral positions are available. The positions are funded by a generous NRF Fellowship for AI awarded to my group.

The goal of the project is to develop statistical and computational guarantees for algorithms performing causal inference. While there has been a long history of study on causal reasoning, the traditional AI viewpoint is mostly non-algorithmic. Our aim is to build theoretical understanding of fundamental problems in causal hypothesis testing, experiment design, and causal model learning that are motivated by current applications in econometrics and computational biology. Please check my publications for some recent work along these lines.

How to Apply?

I am looking for postdoctoral candidates with strong publication records either in theoretical computer science and statistics or in causal inference. Please email me at regarding your interest, along with your CV and names of two references. The deadline for applications is OPEN, but please indicate your interest as soon as possible.
