  Sorry, I have created there things, but forgot to upload.
  Project presentations over. We are now busy grading M3.
  All other marks should be online by tomorrow, latest.

  Pick up all remaining stuffs (HW4, M1, and past stuffs) from envelope outside my office.

• 26-Sep-2011 --- Mid-Term is tonight!
  Mid-Term is open book, bring books, notes, hw, etc.
  But, no programming devices (computers, laptop)
  Calculators are fine. (But you don't really need it.)

  Notes for Lecture 6 are online!

• 13-Sep-2011 --- All HW2 graded, Quiz Info Online;
  All HW2 are graded. Those who have not got theirs back, collect from "big-envelope" outside my office. (CA marks updated)
  Also put info on Mid-Term and Sample Mid-Term (2010) online. (Note: For this year, Amortized Analysis is NOT covered.)

• 12-Sep-2011 --- HW3 and Notes for L5 are online;
  HW3 will be short and due in 1 week.
  (We will try our best to finish grading and return to you ASAP)

  Tonight, I will go through HW2, after class.

• 11-Sep-2011 --- Mid-Term in class time;
  The Mid-Term will be held Monday 26-Sep, 7-9pm. (So, there should be NO Clash!)
  The course schedule has been revised.

  If you have not collected your HW1, they are now
  in an envelope outside my office: COM1-03-17.
  Also, the marks are online now...
  And also, Melvin's extra notes on DP.

• 31-Aug-2011 --- Notes for Wk 5 online, Guest lecturer for DP (05-Sept)
  We have a guest lecturer for next lecture on Dynamic Programming.
  And he is Melvin Zhang, an expert in dynamic programming.

  Please hand in HW2 (as usual) in class to Melvin, or if you want to do it earlier, dump it into the Dropbox outside my office.

  Hi to student interested in CS5206. Thanks for checking out this course and I like to welcome you to the course. But, at the same time, I must also let you know that this course has a heavy workload. So, I like to encourage you to look CAREFULLY at the Course Overview slides and also what I assume as pre-requisites. Try out HW0 and HW1 to make sure you are really suitable for CS5206.

  • HW1 (due on 22-Aug) is already online. Read it and enjoy
  • The textbook for the course [KT06] is in the bookstore, Coop-Forum.

• 08-Aug-2011 --- No lecture in Week 1
  • No lecture in Week 1, as per varsity notice. Enjoy NUS-float and NDP.
  • Make-up for it during Break Week (19-Sep).
