In Kuching for our
wedding (23rd February: counting down to 1st
March....)
This was the day to
“hand up the goods if you want to
marry my daughter!!” This is what you have to go
through if/when you want to marry somebody's daughter. But the
following shots may be applicable to Chinese only. Here are some of
the pics that we took:
 Me
lumbering up the stairs with the basketful of stuff.

 Now
you get to see what's inside.
|
 A
closer view.
|
 Mother
in law inspecting the merchandise with Mum watching like a hawk.
|
 Hmm...
seems that the order is fulfilled. Nothing missing, I suppose.
(Whew!)
|
 Ah...
the spoils of the war campaign.
|
 The
angpows. (4 in total)
|
 The
soon-to-be wife.
|
 Grandpa
and grandchild.
|
 Aunt
and niece.
|

|
 Pondering...
I wonder if I made the right decision.
|
 Then,
we went to Padungan for lunch. In Kuching, we have lunch pretty
early because we combine breakfast and lunch.
|
 Ahhhh...
the outstanding stuff that I have been dreaming of. Pork leg
rice. The soup is fantastic.
|
 Afternoon
siesta. Mum took this shot of two pigs.
