After the lunch break, we headed for the Giant Sequoia grove. We went uphill until we saw snow. The guide warned us that she would not allow us to trek down to the Sequoia Grove if the snow was too heavy and slippery. In the end we did head down. It was about 1.25 miles walk downhill. The snow was beautiful but once melting, it becomes slippery and hence, dangerous.
