Adminstrative Office Information Systems (AOIS)

The group provides direct support for administrative information systems, such as Personnel, Student, Resource Management, Financial Information Systems, NUS Intranet Applications, ECommerce, etc. It consists of 2 Assistant Directors/Managers, 3 Database Administrators (DBAs), 1 Data Adminstrator, and 30 system engineers/programmers.

Technology employed includes Oracle (8.05-->8i), SAP (4.6B), SAS and Keyflow (4.0).

Its objectives are to facilitate better decision making that will complement research and teaching aspirations, and to exploit advanced IT for teaching and educational administration.
