Overview
Purpose
This supplement explains how to install or upgrade the Oracle Workflow Option server, as well as the Oracle Workflow Option components that reside on a client PC.
Attention: Do not install the Oracle Workflow Option server in an Oracle Applications database. If you are licensing Oracle Workflow Option to define new workflow processes in Oracle Applications, you can continue to use the version of the Oracle Workflow server embedded in Oracle Applications. You also do not need to reinstall the client-side components of Oracle Workflow Option, because they are identical to the client-side components of Oracle Workflow embedded in Oracle Applications.

These notes are written for the person or persons responsible for installing or upgrading Oracle Workflow. The person(s) performing this installation may need assistance from the:
- Operating System Administrator
- Oracle Applications System Administrator
- Oracle WebDB, Oracle Web Application Server, or Oracle Application Server Administrator
