Three Eagles

Three eagles in the sky.
Three eagles flying high.
Determined to meet all-might,
Beating wings with warmest pride.
Three eagles in the sky.
Three eagles like soaring kites.
Playing and singing as they fly,
Brothers were they, bonded tight.
Three eagles in the sky.
Three eagles approaching night.
Wings are tired but spirits’ alright,
Winds blowing fine, stars are bright.
Three eagles in the sky.
Three eagles out of sight.
Oldest one blind, out of light,
Gives up struggle, looses flight.
Two eagles now in the sky.
Two eagles still sharing fight.
Stars are back, now joyless sight,
Winds, once friendly, with touches bite.
Two eagles in the sky.
Two eagles flying wide.
Breaths are but gasps and sighs,
Withering weak, another bids g’bye.
A lone eagle now in the sky.
A lone eagle on ethereal heights.
Remorseful in his struggles futile,
Won’t surrender however, may he die!
A lone eagle beyond the sky.
A lone eagle who drowned upside.
Wings scaling sun’s huge shine,
Casts a shadow underneath divine.
