Latest News (July 2008)

Starting from academic year 2008/09, the course CS5206 will replace CS5234 (which will not be offered any more). There will also be a new course, CS6234 Advanced Algorithms, a seminar-style course on advanced algorithms that will be a natural follow-on for CS5206.

For Semester 1, 2008/09, CS5206 will be offered on Monday 6:30--8:30pm. (This information is being updated on CORS and also on the SOC web-pages -- this will take a little bit of time; everyone is busy with lots of urgent tasks at the beginning of the year.)

Undergraduates can also take this module if they have the pre-requisite, namely CS3230. Ten places has been set aside for undergraduates who want to take CS5206.
