Who am I ?

I joined National University of Singapore in July 2024 as an Associate Professor (Educator Track) in the Department of Computer Science in the School of Computing.

Previously, I was the Director of Postgraduate Studies (Taught) in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. I was also the Deputy DUGS for a bit and the Deputy director of Industrial Liaison and the 3rd and 4th year coordinator for many years, amongst other things! Initially, I joined Imperial as a Research Associate and was part of the Distributed Software Engineering Group and worked with Dr Morris Sloman, Dr Emil Lupu, and Dr Naranker Dulay. It was a lovely time at DoC 😊.

I completed my PhD from the Computer Science Department at the University of Pittsburgh under the supervision of Dr Taieb Znati in the area of pervasive and ubiquitous computing. You can find more information about my research interests in the Research section.

Going back still further in history, I spent five wonderful years at St. Stephen's College, Delhi, India, where I completed my Bachelors and Masters in Mathematics. After which, I spent one year at Wichita State University, Kansas. At Wichita, I was working under Dr Nicholas Tran, (who is now at Santa Clara University), in the field of Digital Watermarking.
