  • Instructor is enthusiastic about teaching.
  • Stanley is supeeer good. If can use the class microphone would be great! The class mic has better sound quality but it's fine.
  • His explanations are very clear in a non-condescending manner, which I really appreciate.
  • Very passionate. Great active learning! Appreciate the effort Stanley has put in.
  • teach us more mods!! can ask istd students to teach digiworld
  • I like the active learning stuff!
  • Very clear explanation and active learning environment
  • Very clear
  • The 'how many fingers' method is a great way of assessing our understanding, and I love that I can stop him to clarify points without feeling stupid
  • Stanley teaches very well
  • Awesome professor that teaches clearly and engage the class. Always willing to answer questions and clarify misunderstandings that students may have. Encourage learning and participation. I love this prof! Great job man!
  • could have gone a little faster
  • I would increse frequency and reduce duration of each class. 2.5 hours is kinda too long per class.
  • The weekly quizzes are extremely useful in helping me to find out what I don't understand. Stanley's system of making us raise fingers to indicate our answers, then explaniing if we didn't get it, is also helpful.
  • The project was good.
  • Really great, but shouldn't Machine Learning be after Artificial Intelligence? As ML is a subset of AI.
  • Please place this course before Machine Learning
  • this should be a core istd course!
  • Workload is high. It is hard to muster everything well, complete all textbook readings, understand things deeply, finish assignments, when there's always new and heavy content to cover week after week.
  • Course is interesting but the way it was taught feels very much like JC-style: copy notes in class. What's the point?
  • term 7 would be good.... all the best courses come this term
  • Great!
  • Good and interesting
  • Content is interesting and presented clearly. It actually makes me read the textbook and find out more about the topics out of interest, not because I don't understand what is going on.
  • The homework was manageable at first, but later the coding question along with the written homework was getting a bit heavy. It would be nice if we could have one and half week to two weeks to complete the coding question. One week for written homework questions is fine. However, i really enjoy and learn a lot from the course! This course is awesome!!
  • The classes plus the homework and project are intense. The programming questions are a bit too heavy within the one week deadline.
