  • Very helpful, clear and structured. Gives good visual explanations.
  • His commitment to teaching and care for students is respectable.
  • Good instructor overall! And a good lead in our class. Good job! A patient guy with lots of knowledge to share. Maybe a recap of what we have done during previous weeks should be done at the beginning of class before moving on quickly to the next topic. It would be useful and helpful for us. And for homework questions, not all was taught during cohort. This makes the way we tackle each question wrong or it might not be the right way of tackling it. More emphasis should be placed on these during cohort lessons too.
  • Stanley is extremely dedicated in teaching, and very clear in his explanations.
  • Very structured thinking, teaches really well by simple step by step instructions
  • Ambitious teaching style, but effective in inculcating understanding of the machine language.
  • He really understands not just the subject of his teaching but he somehow has very good intuition as to what I mean when I ask him questions. He speaks a little softly, though.
  • Passionate, clear, systematic, encourages participation and does not give away answers too early. Great instructor!
  • Teaching is superbly clear and easy to comprehend. Maybe questions introduced in cohort sessions can be sent beforehand to better aid note-taking. Would be good to have a 5min break in between to internalise the cohort content.
  • Very good.
  • Should use a bit more layman terms when describing OOP for gentler learning curve to those without computing background. Otherwise, he is very good.
  • Stanley is an excellent instructor and I have learnt a tremendous amount from him. His lessons are easy to follow and understand and I appreciate his patience in answering all of the questions asked during the lesson. He also makes sure that everyone understands what is being taught before he continues to teach something else.
  • Stanley thinks of different ways of expressing the same idea, catering to many different learning styles of the students in a way we are able to understand. He knows his stuff very well and can tackle any questions presented to him. Overall he teaches really well. Excellent job!!
  • Stanley has been an inspiration to all of us with his knowledge on programming and has always shown passion in his lessons. The class and I feel assured learning from him and our cohort instructors.  He really encourages us to try things on our own. however, i would appreciate it if he completes the tutorials during class time as this would greatly assist us for our homework and for our learning.
  • Good style of teaching. Very interactive with class. Should go through ALL cohort questions in class rather than only going through one or two. With this, it's a better basis for us to work on the homework on our own than struggling through it for many hours.
  • Often stays back after official cohort time to help us. Very committed!! Clear explanations. Takes several approaches to explain a single concept to reach out to different types of learners in class. Excellent job!!
  • Too critical at times.
  • He is very structured and is able to explain the concepts generally to the class. But sometimes it could be difficult to follow for some of the rest when he uses a lot of technical jargon, and the screen might be quite small and those of us at the back can't quite see.
  • Excellent instructor! Encourages us to think instead of giving answers. Very organised and professional.
