I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS).  I received my Ph.D., M.Eng. and S.B. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2006, 1997 and 1997 respectively.  I joined NUS as a Senior Tutor in 2001, and was appointed Assistant Professor in 2006 after my return from my Ph.D. studies.  While at MIT, I was a member of the Programming Methodology Group and worked under the supervision of Professor Barbara Liskov (2009 ACM Turing Award winner).  

My research interests are in the areas of computer networking and distributed systems:
