I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the School of Computing, National University of Singapore (NUS).  I received my Ph.D., M.Eng. and S.B. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2006, 1997 and 1997 respectively.  I joined NUS as a Senior Tutor in 2001, and was appointed Assistant Professor in 2006 after my return from my Ph.D. studies.  While at MIT, I was a member of the Programming Methodology Group and worked under the supervision of Professor Barbara Liskov.

My research interests are in the areas of computer networking and distributed systems:
