Labs / Assignments

Lab groupings follow tutorial groupings. Lab exercises and assignments are individual exercises.

In each lab session, you will work on a lab exercise in Ubuntu Linux platform. You cannot use Qt Creator and Qt Designer. A lab TA will be around to guide you if you have any queries. You should be able to complete a lab exercise within the allocated 2 hours.

For the programming assignments, you may do them in any platform, except you cannot use Qt Designer to design the GUI. It is also your responsibility to ensure that your programs submitted to the TA can be compiled in the TA's test platform, which is likely to be Ubuntu. If you had written your programs properly, this will not be a problem because Qt programs are cross-platform---write once, run anywhere.

Lab Submission
Submit your lab exercise by demonstrating your program to the Lab TA during lab hours in the Lab.
If you cannot complete your lab exercise during the lab hours, you may complete it outside the lab hours and
   submit during the next available lab hours in the Lab. Alternatively, you may arrange with the Lab TA to submit
   during Lab TA's office hours at Media Research Lab 5.
 
Assigment Submission
Submit your assignmnet by demonstrating your program to the Lab TA during lab hours or office hours at
    Media Research Lab 5.
You may submit your assignment more than once before the final deadline on Friday 5pm of the submission week.
