Samantha Sow Jin Sze is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at the National University of Singapore (NUS). She holds an M.Ed. in Educational Studies (Learning, Teaching and Research) from the University of Sheffield and a B.Eng. (First Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore. At the NUS School of Computing, she teaches BT1101 Introduction to Business Analytics under the Data Literacy Pillar of the undergraduate curriculum. As part of her ongoing commitment to pedagogical innovation, she was awarded a Blended Learning 2.0 grant (2025) to redesign BT1101 into a technology-enhanced, student-centered blended learning experience. She also serves as a student advisor to the 2023 undergraduate cohort. Her teaching and research interests span data science, business analytics, and educational research. Beyond undergraduate teaching, she contributes to executive education through NUS Advanced Computing for Executives, where she facilitates programmes that help professionals build their digital and data competencies. Prior to joining NUS, Samantha held teaching and course lead roles at Temasek Polytechnic (2012–2022). She was actively involved in curriculum development, programme delivery and industry partnerships. She led the design and implementation of data science and business analytics programmes for both students and professionals from government agencies and private sector organisations.
