Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Machine Learning for Reasoning and Planning with Visual and Linguistic Inputs

The Department of Computer Science at National University of Singapore is seeking a research fellow (RF) to work on machine learning for reasoning and planning with visual and linguistic inputs. The project aims to develop methods to interact in the world through language and vision in the presence of constraints and goals.

Candidates are expected to have a strong technical background in some of the following areas: machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, planning and reinforcement learning. Knowledge of probabilistic graphical models, graph neural networks, and large language or visual language models will be helpful.

Applicants will be selected based on their research ability as well as their prior experience in the relevant topics.

Requirements

1. Completed all requirements for a PhD degree.
2. Strong publication record and research experience in the relevant topics.
3. Committed to full-time employment at NUS, Singapore.
