Dr. Bohan Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Computational Design & Fabrication Group at CSAIL, MIT, under the supervision of Prof. Wojciech Matusik. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC), where he was advised by Prof. Jernej Barbic, and also obtained his M.S. degree from USC. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Technology from the ACM class at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in China. Dr. Wang's research interests lie in computer graphics, with a particular emphasis on 3D shape design and generation, as well as computer animation and simulation. He has published in top venues such as SIGGRAPH (Asia) and ACM Transactions on Graphics (ToG), and received Best Paper Awards at Pacific Graphics (PG). His Ph.D. thesis was nominated for the Best Thesis Award at the Viterbi School of Engineering, USC. Dr. Wang regularly serves as a reviewer for leading graphics and vision venues, and has served as an area chair for ICLR and a program committee member for PG and CGI. He was also a research intern at Meta Reality Labs and a consultant for the Video Generation Foundation Model team at ByteDance.
