Dr Vikas Deep is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics at the National University of Singapore. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Achal Bassamboo. Prior to that, he earned a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Dr Deep's research focuses on optimising resource allocation and learning adaptively to improve the accuracy and efficiency of experimentation methods used on online platforms. His current research utilises tools from applied probability and multi-armed bandits, with a focus on A/B testing and computerised adaptive testing.
