Programme Overview

The Professional Certificate in Frontend Development Programme offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to empower learners with essential competencies in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Participants will master JavaScript fundamentals, including data structures and object-oriented programming concepts, while becoming proficient in utilising development environments such as NodeJS and Visual Studio Code for coding and debugging purposes. Through hands-on practice, learners will learn to manipulate the Document Object Model (DOM) and apply functional programming principles effectively. Additionally, they will grasp asynchronous programming concepts vital for handling asynchronous tasks seamlessly. With a strong emphasis on HTML and CSS, learners will gain a solid foundation in web document structure and styling, enabling them to craft professional, responsive websites from scratch. This certificate programme lays the groundwork for advanced web development skills, providing learners with the tools and knowledge necessary to excel in the field.

Total Nett Programme Fee Payable, including GST, after additional funding from various funding schemes.
Participants must fulfill at least 70% attendance and pass all assessment components for all short courses within a professional certificate in order to be eligible for SSG funding.
The applicable funding is for Singaporeans and Singapore PRs. This is subject to change and in accordance with SSG funding guidelines as of course commencement.

As AI and emerging technologies continue to reshape industries and transform workforce skill requirements, we are refreshing our programme portfolio to ensure our offerings remain relevant, responsive, and aligned with evolving industry needs.

As outlined on our website since December 2025, the Advanced Professional Certificate (APC) and Professional Certificate (PC) programmes will be phased out by June 2026.
