Course Overview

This two-day advanced course immerses participants to experience the “Red Team” (Attacker) perspective ethically, specifically targeting web applications. This course outlines how hackers find security loopholes in web applications. Participants will use AI to assist in discovering vulnerabilities (Ethical Hacking) to better understand how to mitigate them. This allows participants to gain insight into the adversary’s mindset and strengthen their defensive strategies.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the “Cyber Kill Chain” as applied to web applications
  • Utilise AI tools to assist in the reconnaissance of web assets
  • Experience the process of exploitation in a controlled environment
  • Differentiate between ethical Penetration Testing and malicious hacking
  • Interpret a Penetration Test Report to prioritise business risks

Prerequisites

The minimum entry requirement is a general diploma.
