Course Overview

This two-day intermediate course immerses participants in the role of a “Blue Teamer” (Defender). Participants will experience the challenges of securing web/cloud applications which are the most common interface for modern businesses. By leveraging AI as a defensive assistant, participants will identify vulnerabilities in web platforms and make real-time decisions to harden defences, providing valuable insights for managing technical teams.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the anatomy of common web/cloud attacks
  • Utilise AI assistants to interpret web error logs and identify signs of an active attack
  • Experience the concept of “Hardening” by applying security congurations to web/cloud applications
  • Evaluate the trade-offs between strict security and business availability
  • Develop a “Blue Team” mindset focused on resilience and rapid response

Prerequisites

The minimum entry requirement is a general diploma.
