Course Overview

This two-day course introduces participants to AI-enabled Metaverse and Spatial Computing technologies and their growing role in digital transformation across industries. Participants will explore how immersive technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Extended Reality (XR) combine with enabling technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and 5G/6G to create intelligent, interactive, and immersive digital environments. Through a combination of lectures, demonstrations, real-world case studies, and guided hands-on experiential labs, participants will develop a practical understanding of immersive systems and their applications in areas such as training, simulation, planning, and collaboration. The course also examines key ethical, governance, and security considerations to support informed and responsible adoption of these technologies.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Understand how AI and immersive technologies (AR/VR/XR) combine with IoT, Blockchain, and 5G/6G to enable Metaverse and Spatial Computing environments
Operate and interact with AR/VR devices and immersive platforms
Analyse real-world use cases of immersive technologies across industries
Understand key ethical, governance, and security considerations
Identify, evaluate and propose potential applications of AI-enabled immersive technologies within their organisation

Prerequisites

The minimum entry requirement for this course is a general diploma.
