Web development was traditionally associated with creating webpages but this perception has changed drastically in the last decade. Unlike the 1990s, web development can now be thought of as similar to development of desktop applications except for use through the web. This session will provide participants with a brief evolution of the web/mobile development scene and share some characteristics of modern web and mobile development styles. The participants should gain some appreciation of the characteristics of modern web and mobile development.
