This course is part of the (SCTP) NUS Data Engineering Programme. Applicants are required to register for all SCTP courses.

Course Overview

This one-day course equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills to understand and apply key concepts in building and managing data pipelines effectively. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the techniques for selecting the right tools to design and construct efficient data pipelines. Additionally, participants will learn to automate infrastructure deployment, streamlining the setup and management of data pipeline environments. Finally, the course emphasises best practices and CI/CD
(Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) methodologies, ensuring participants can build robust, and maintainable data pipelines.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Acquire a solid understanding of techniques for selecting the right tools to build data pipelines effectively
Develop hands-on skills in analysing and visualising streaming data
Learn to automate infrastructure deployment to streamline the setup and management of data pipeline environments
Understand and implement best practices and CI/CD for building robust, scalable, and maintainable data pipelines
