This course is part of the (SCTP) NUS Data Engineering Programme. Applicants are required to register for all SCTP courses.

Course Overview

This one-day course offers a comprehensive introduction to data concepts and data governance practices. Participants will gain a strong understanding of core data management principles and the fundamentals of data architecture for designing efficient systems. The course also covers the principles of data governance, focusing on best practices for ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Gain a foundational understanding of data fundamentals, including core principles and best practices for data management
Design and evaluate scalable data architectures to support efficient and effective data systems
Understand and implement data governance principles to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
