The NUS HumanITy Challenge
In this year’s challenge, teams were tasked with identifying a pressing issue in the health and well-being of societies, communities or people.
Whether it was developing smart solutions to prevent chronic diseases or finding new ways to promote mental well-being and social connections, competitors had to design innovations that were sustainable and feasible, and shape a world where people live healthier, happier, and more connected lives.

The NUS MUFG Dell HumanITy Challenge
Teams were challenged to identify a pressing issue within the pillars of economic, social and/or environmental sustainability, and to develop and present a comprehensive and IT-driven sustainability innovation that addressed the problem. The solution was expected to be sustainable, feasible, and scalable, with the potential for real-world implementation. It should also have considered policy and/or social change as part of its implementation.
