Computing Day 2025: Celebrating Community, Creativity & Excellence

A Celebration of Community and Computing Excellence
Last Friday, the NUS Students’ Computing Club, in collaboration with the Office of Student Life, hosted Computing Day 2025 at COM3’s Multi-Purpose Hall. The event kicked off with an inspiring opening speech by Dean Professor Tulika Mitra, setting the tone for an afternoon of celebration and community spirit.
Highlights of the day included the SoCCat birthday celebration, the SoC Student Awards 2025, interactive tech-themed activities, Student Interest Group (SIG) showcases, and valuable networking opportunities for both staff and students.
Computing Day is an annual tradition that brings the NUS Computing community together to foster pride, connection, and a shared sense of identity. Organised by our dedicated Student Engagement Team, the event reflects the vibrancy of student life and the collaborative culture that defines the School of Computing.
A heartfelt thank you to all student leaders, staff, and participants who contributed to the success of the event. Computing Day continues to showcase our creativity, strengthen our community bonds, and reflect the spirit that makes SoC truly special.
