Our students clinched first place at the Asian Business Plan Competition (ABPC) 2025

Congratulations to our Computing students Lim Jian Hong (Year 3, Computer Science) and Mohammad Firas (Year 1, Business Analytics) on clinching first place at the Asian Business Plan Competition (ABPC) 2025!
Hosted at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, ABPC brought together students from the National University of Singapore, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and NTHU for an 11-day innovation challenge focused on solving real-world problems through cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Jian Hong and Firas, together with teammates from HKUST and NTHU, developed Ellina — an AI-powered assistant that supports individuals with Type 1 diabetes by offering real-time, personalised insulin and lifestyle recommendations.
