Rajashekar Reddy, a PhD student at NUS Computing, has been selected as a Rising Star at MobiSys 2025

We’re proud to share that Rajashekar Reddy, a PhD student at NUS Computing, has been selected as a Rising Star at MobiSys 2025, one of the top conferences in mobile computing.

Rajashekar recently travelled to California, where he presented his research, “Beyond Backscatter: Rethinking Low-Power Wireless Communication to Tackle the Energy Challenge of Embedded Systems.”

His work explores novel approaches to wireless design that dramatically reduce energy consumption in embedded systems, contributing to the future of sustainable, always-on connectivity.
