Scholarship Support Eases Financial Burden for NUS Computing Freshman

LBKM Future Economy Scholarship helps Muhammad Nur Adzfar (current Year 2 Computer Science student in AY2026/2027) stay focused on his studies, campus life, and community service

The LBKM Future Economy Scholarship has made a meaningful difference in the university journey of Muhammad Nur Adzfar Bin Mohammad Zulkifli, a freshman in the NUS School of Computing.

By helping to cover his school and living expenses, the scholarship has eased financial pressure and allowed him to stay on campus. This has given him the opportunity to take part more fully in university life, including joining NUS Silat and building meaningful friendships and routines beyond his studies.

The support has also enabled him to continue volunteering with Mendaki on weekends, where he contributes to educational programmes for younger students. With less financial stress, Adzfar has been able to focus on managing his time better, growing in confidence, and making the most of the opportunities available to him at NUS.

Looking ahead, he hopes to pursue a career as a software engineer in Singapore’s tech sector. The scholarship has given him the stability and peace of mind to continue developing the skills and knowledge he needs to work towards that goal.

“Your support has not only eased my financial burdens but has also empowered me to grow, contribute, and dream bigger for the future.”
